We have extensive experience in the industry to share with our customers on their journey from site selection to construction completion of LIHTC (Low Income Housing Tax Credit) developments.
After working as a Project Manager for a LIHTC Developer, Mindy Dernier opened Summit LIHTC Consulting in 2013 to specialize in LIHTC application preparation for various clients. Prior to working as part of the development team, Mindy got her start in the LIHTC industry working as a Real Estate Analyst at Novogradac & Company LLP. She wrote market studies and appraisals for proposed new construction and historic conversion LIHTC developments across the country. This was a great way to get introduced to the industry, as she was exposed to many different types of markets and developments as an independent third party analyst.
Mindy has experience analyzing an affordable housing market, assembling pro formas, and has a proven track record working with the state agencies, giving your project an edge over the competition. She has the ability to jump in and assist with your development plans at any point of the process.
